This traditional holiday tart in Austria has been updated for the discriminating wine country. We take cranberries, raspberries, pears, honey and spices for our cooked compote that is nestled in an aromatic nut crust. A decorative lattice design graces the top.
This is also tasty with coffee, tea and breakfast as the compote is a little tart.
